From a small office or shop to complex fire engineered premises.

As an employer or someone responsible for a non-domestic property you are responsible under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for undertaking and reviewing your fire risk assessment. For businesses employing five or more employees or any licenced premises, there is an additional legal requirement to document the findings. The person carrying out the assessment has to have sufficient skills and training to undertake the systematic evaluation of the factors that determine the hazard from fire, the likelihood that there will be a fire and the consequences if one were to occur based on the complexity and use of the specific premises.

If you do not have the expertise or time to undertake the fire risk assessment yourself, you need to appoint a competent fire risk assessor to undertake the assessment. NT Fire can assist in you meeting your legal obligations by undertaking the Fire Risk Assessment on your behalf. We can also provide you with other relevant documentation including fire policy documentation, staff training documentation and fire safety equipment testing records and procedures.
